Yep, you guessed it – the Feet Meridian Winter Warriors program is back, and we're gearing up for an enjoyable 12-week journey that'll keep you active, motivated, and having a great time this winter. 

What Exactly is Winter Warriors?

Winter Warriors isn't just your regular running or walking group; it's a close-knit fitness community that thrives on community and fun. And the best part? It won't cost you a thing! This is our way of helping you stay active and connected during the darker, colder months of the year.

Here's how it works: You can join group meetups six times a week, where you can run or walk at your own pace. Regardless of the weather conditions – be it rain, snow, or freezing temps – showing up earns you extra points for your dedication. We keep track of your progress through our fitness tracking platform, Fitvil.

Now, here's the exciting part: On February 13th, we throw a celebration to appreciate everyone who participated, with special recognition for those who earned the most points. Think of it as a winter party for walkers and runners!

As menitoned the whole Winter Warriors experience is absolutely FREE. It's not just about maintaining your fitness goals; it's about making new friends, staying active, and enjoying the winter season to the fullest. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just starting your fitness journey, you're welcome with open arms.

Special Kickoff Meetups

We're kicking off the Winter Warriors season with a bang, and you're invited to join us for two special meetups during Thanksgiving weekend. It's the perfect way to start burning off those extra holiday calories and getting into the winter fitness groove.

  1. Black Friday Hike/Run (November 24th, 9:30 am): Meet us in the first Military Reserve parking lot for an invigorating hike/run with @trailfridays. It's a fantastic opportunity to explore the great outdoors and make new friends. Learn more here.

  2. Saturday Run/Walk (November 25th, 9:00 am): Join us at Fleet Feet Meridian for a special run/walk led by our training program coach, @momthlete_ak. After the exercise, we've got some delicious snacks and coffee waiting for you at the store.
