This incredibly light and fast shoe is perfect for races and fast training runs. It is full of bouncy, responsive foam and a carbon plate to give you a cushioned, yet propulsive ride. Plus, it has all of the Altra signature features—a wide toe box gives your toes room to splay and a zero heel-to-toe drop lets you run as naturally as possible, as fast as possible.

• Upper: Incredibly lightweight mesh keeps the shoe light and breathable. It has Altra’s Slim Footshape™ Fit, giving you plenty of lockdown around the midfoot as you race.
• Midsole: Altra’s Ego™ Pro cushion provides a soft, yet responsive ride. Altra increased the amount of cushion underfoot (as well as the stack height) to provide more comfort and durability on the run. A new full-length carbon fiber plate delivers a 14% increase in asymmetry to give you a more natural stride while still propelling you forward. This combination also gives you improved flexibility.
