I bought these a month ago and tried them 6 separate runs. Roughly 3-7 miles each time as an athlete and someone who loves running! I have never in my life had problems with my calves or my strike when I run. These shoes gave me the worst calf cramps and strains and I know it was them because it was the only thing I changed in my running routine. I purchased an 8.5 wide which the size and feel felt great! Definitely a great wide shoe but I returned due to the calf cramps.
