Hoka 9 GTX
I am a bit disappointed in the GTX model. I ordered a Clifton 9 only because my Clifton 10 seemed to lose it's cushioning after 7 months. I don't run in them. Only walk and wear to my cardio classes. I have been wearing Clifton 9's for as long as they have been available and they would last me about a year. Very disappointed in the Clifton 10. I thought I would get a new Clifton 9 before they were no longer available so I ordered a GTX model as there are very few Clifton 9 available any more. I thought the regular Clifton 9 was the same as the GTX model only waterproof. The toe box is much wider and just doesn't feel as good as a regular Clifton 9. Feels more like a hiking sneaker. Hoka are my favorite sneaker and I have been wearing them for at least 10 years. I get a new pair every year. When this GTX model is worn out I will hate to order another Clifton 10 again. My hope is they change the padding and go back to the Clifton 9 design because the 10 just doesn't hold up to the same standard. This review has nothing to do with Fleet Feet. Just the Hoka shoe.
My favorite running shoe
I love the Clifton 9’s and now have four pairs. They are so comfortable and have taken me on a half marathon, several 10k’s and many 5k’s. These are especially great because of the reflective material.
Purchased for a trip to Europe
Love these shoes for traveling when bad weather could be encountered. Feet stayed warm and dry.
Love these!!!
I absolutely love these shoes! They’re so comfy when I’m standing on my feet hours upon hours.
Great, but…..
These are great shoes and I find them to be water-resistant even water-proof, although I don’t go wading in them. I rated them down 1 star b/c they don’t come in wides! I improvised and ordered a half size up like someone else recommended and sure, it works but it’s limiting, like I wouldn’t do long runs in I’ll-fitting shoes but at least I can get out for a little in inclement weather.
Royal blue is awesome!
Love the color and how it repels water. I have inserts so it fits good.
Great weatherproof shoes
Love them lightweight but good in the rain. Very comfortable
