This road-to-trail shoe has the versatility to go wherever you want. The MaxTrac™ outsole gives you the perfect combination of grip, traction and durability that makes it perfect for running in the snow, hiking on muddy springtime trails or speeding down slick roads after a summer rainstorm. It’s also more flexible than your typical trail running shoe to give you more agility on the roads.

The Outroad 2 has Altra’s EGO™ midsole foam for a soft and bouncy ride on any terrain. Plus, its zero heel-to-toe drop, or balanced cushioning, means that the same amount of cushioning is in the heel and forefoot to give you a natural running feeling on both roads and trails.
