Surprisingly good fast shoes

Very lightweight tempo shoes that are also stable. The lightest shoes in my lineup. Easy to run in them and have excellent cushioning and support considering they are fast shoes. They will tolerate some heel-striking in case it happens. I recently did my 8K PR in them. I keep reaching for these shoes for my runs.

Great shoes for tempos and speed workouts

These shoes are terrific. I loved my Endorphin Speeds but Saucony did a great job making this version more stable while keeping everything that made the first version so much fun to wear.

Surpasses expectations!

Great cushion! Love my Endorphin Speed l but the technology by your company continues to improve this great shoe. Also enjoy the wider heel area on the shoe which helps this older runner with stability. Best shoe in the running shoe quiver right now.

love the Endorphin Speed 3 use to run in Triumph's till they drastically changed them in model 20 ( higher stack higher drop etc.) The speed 3 just the right amount of cushioning. Also love the Princeton NJ store great service and friendly staff

All around perfect shoe.

My absolute favorite shoe. After long last I have found it! I originally picked these up when I began increasing my distances and I am not disappointed in the least. There is no soreness in any part of my legs when using these shoes. There are the only pair I own that I have or will not put any insoles in due to not needing them. I highly recommend these you won’t be disappointed.

Blisters and Needs More Grip

I have been running on New Balance Fresh Foam 1080s for a while. A solid shoe but I was looking for something just a touch better. After a lot of research I decided to get the Endorphin Speed 3s. I went to Fleet Feet tried on a pair. The initial ride was great. I ran a 3 mile run the first day with them and they felt great. The next day I ran a 5K for the fourth of July. I had a great time. During the run I could feel the shoe giving a lot back to me in power. It was a nice cushioned ride and responsive with the nylon plate. After the 5K I was certain I found my new go to shoe. I should also mention I am training for two marathons and three half marathons within the next year. The next day I decided to venture past the low miles and really test the shoe. At about mile 4 I felt the back of my heel start to burn. At the end of a 7 mile run I had developed blisters on the achilles area from that piece of hard rubber on the exterior of the heel counter. It just kept digging into my ankle. I used mole skin put on my 1080s for a few days and continued to run with those. When my blisters healed I tried a three mile run in the Endorphins and at the end of the run I noticed the same area was starting to form another blister. I had my ankle locked in the size was spot on normal toe room. My ankle didn't feel any slipping. It was just that rubber piece digging in. I really wanted these shoes to work for me. If Saucony removes the rubber piece or lowers it about 3/4 of an inch I would try the shoe again. I loved how cushioned they were but didn't sacrifice responsiveness. It is a good shoe as it is however with a couple of small changes it could be a great shoe. The only other thing I would say is they can be a slippery shoe. I ran after a rain one day and they didn't grip nearly as well as the 1080s. The grip isn't a deal breaker but the blisters from the rubber piece on the heel counter is. I returned the shoes after a couple of weeks to Fleet Feet and bought another pair of 1080 V12s.

A shoe to rule them all

Average between 60 & 70 miles a week. This shoe has been a dream. It’s lightweight comfortable I’d say mostly a road shoe but can handle trails? It’s your do-it all shoe.

Fun Pair of Shoes

Excellent Training Shoe(s)

I used to train wearing the old burgundySaucony Freedom Trainers back in the 1980's; but when my foot-size grew I needed a 2E-Sized Shoe and Saucony didn't carry many Wide Widths; so I switched to New Balance. After wearing NB for many years after I had my right hip replaced in early 2022 I needed a softer/springyer shoe for Comfort. So I went to a Local Shoe Store and tried on a NB 1080 on my Left foot & a Saucony Endorphin on my Right. HANDS-DOWN the Saucony felt like a comfortable Slipper; whereas the NB felt like a Lead Brick! I knew I needed to seek out an area store that carried the Full-Line of Saucony Running Shoes and THAT Store was Fleet Feet in Deerfield IL. I went there and they had my Endorphin Speed in-stock & in MY Size too! They felt GREAT but due to my Debit Card issue I instead ordered a pair Online! They arrived within a week and when I went for their Inaugural jog around the block I was VERY Impressed with their Comfort & Performance! The girl that helped me @ Fleet Feet was VERY Knowledgeable Friendly & Professional Too... I WILL be shopping THERE for ALL my future running gear needs!

Great shoes. Stable and plenty of cushion

Best Running Shoe I've Even Worn

Jono 1 year ago Verified Purchase

This is my race day shoe which is replacing my Endorphin Speed 1s. Fit is much better than v1. Comfortable out of the box more snug same springy feeling. I think they may be a tiny bit heavier but they feel lighter. Set a 1 mile PR this month on their maiden voyage. Everything about v3 is better than v1 and 2. Improved upper and toe box eliminated the slack from v1. Better lacing system than v1. The plate is new but I cannot tell the difference from v1 just feels fast and responsive like always.

great racer/trainer big improvement

Really digging these over the Speed 2. More stable more cushion litte more upper material for that comfy feel. They feel at home whether you are at 9/mi or 6/mi. Great trainer and plenty fast for road racing.
