Recycle Running Shoes

Fleet Feet supports USAgain's mission of collecting used shoes and apparel and using them to help clothe the 70% of the world's population that depends on secondhand items.  Their "TreeMachine" drop-off boxes provide communities with convenient and eco-friendly options to donate excess shoes and clothing, which are diverted from landfills.  USAgain exports those items to struggling countries and those exports generate revenue used to create green jobs here in the US and abroad and help improve the well-being of people around the world.  By putting clothes back in the use cycle they preserve conserve precious natural resources and limit the emission of greenhouse gases to fight Global Warming and the Climate Crisis.  They call their collection boxes TreeMachines because they plant a tree every time the box is full.  They plant approximately 120,000 trees per year, with over 1,000,000 trees planted so far!  To find a TreeMachine collection box near you, click here.
