The Drumstick Dash 5K Training is part of the 1st Session in our Endless Training! Whether you are a first-timer or a returning part of the Fleet Feet Fam, a beginning runner, or just looking for some group camaraderie this session will be great for you! Our program will help you cross the finish line in November feeling strong, happy, and accomplished! Once you've completed the Drumstick Dash 5K the session will continue into Winter Warriors beginning on November 25th.

- 3 Team Meet ups take place a week on/at
Tues. 6-7pm @ Big Lick Brewing Co.
Thurs. 6-7pm @ River's Edge Park (Parking Lot at 310 Reserve Ave)
Sat. 8-10am @ River's Edge Park (Parking Lot at 310 Reserve Ave)
Tuesday 9/26/23 6-7PM - Meet and Greet the Team at the Pub Run
- Meet the Fleet Feet Roanoke Team as well as the Mentors for the Program.

Our goal at Fleet Feet Roanoke is to push you to reach the goals you have set infront of yourself. Each week will consist of 3 group workouts that will be led by mentors and programmed by the training coordinator. These workout will progress in distance and effort over the course of the 8 weeks until the conclusion of the Drumstick Dash 5k. At the beginning of the program you will recieve a week by week breakdown of your training schedule depending on the program you choose.
No Boundaries 5K Training
- The Drumstick Dash No Boundaries 5k Program is for those that have either not completed a 5k before or if you are just getting back into running. Our goal is to have you finish the goal race with ease, no matter whether you plan to run or walk it! The program gradually increases in intensity and pace to ease you into activity. This will allow you to adjust to the training throughout the program. There will be pace groups of run/walk interval and pure walk group on the days we meet.
5K Finisher Training
- The Drumstick Dash 5k Finisher Program is for those who have a history of running or are active 3+ days a week for about 1hr at a time. Our goal for this program is to push you along to your goal time. This training plan will consist of the 3 days of running groups as well as prescribed workouts on days we will not meet. The workouts on the group meet days will consist of intervals of varying intensity and time, while the workouts for days that we do not meet will mostly consist of easy running or cross training.
