Training Programs
At Fleet Feet, we believe that Training Programs can be life changing. Setting goals, making new friends, getting faster, being part of a community, achieving new potential - that's what it's all about! With training programs for different distances, terrains, and goals for all levels of runners, there’s a program for you. Our programs are led by experienced and enthusiastic coaches and mentors, and include continued communication, race day support, and discounts at Fleet Feet Folsom and Roseville.

Want to train with us year-round? Our monthly subscription gives you access to all our run programs, except our Beginner Limitless 5k Program, for $40 per month in the spring/summer and $50 per month in the fall/winter (December is free!).

Shamrock'n 10k & Half Marathon
Description: Welcome to Fleet Feet Folsom & Rosevilles Shamrockn 10k & Half Marathon Training! This program is designed to help both new and experienced walkers and runners reach their 10k and half marathon goals in a positive and fun group environment.
This program will culminate in the Shamrockn 10k on March 16 and the Shamrockn Half Marathon on March 17th!

Description: The trails are calling, and Fleet Feet Folsom Roseville has a Trail Training Program to help you get out there! This program has everything - experienced coaches, a goal-based training schedule, and weekly runs that will introduce you to many different local trailheads in a safe group setting. We will share information on the important components of trail running, fueling, and hydration for the demands of the trail?its different than on the road!
This program is meant for anyone from the beginning runner to the experienced runner who may just want to escape the pounding of the pavement and focus on softer terrain and beautiful scenery.

Description: Join us for our "Use It or Lose It" Training Program! This program is designed for those who want to maintain the fitness they've built up or begin to establish a baseline. Without a specific goal race, the workouts will focus on making fitness enjoyable and making improvements throughout the 8 weeks. Our workouts will be time-based, so there is no pressure to meet any certain distance. Go at your own pace; the workout is yours!

Mississippi Bar Trail Run
Description: The trails are calling, and Fleet Feet Folsom Roseville has a Trail Training Program to help you get out there! This program has everything - experienced coaches, a time-based training schedule, and weekly runs that will introduce you to many different local trailheads in a safe group setting. We will share information on the important components of trail running, fueling, and hydration for the demands of the trail, its different than on the road!
This program is meant for anyone who is new to trail running or wants to get back to the basics of trail running techniques and will culminate in the Mississippi Bar Trail Run 5K/10K. Exact date TBD.

Description: Anyone, any pace, who wants to be more efficient - let's take the Summer to focus not so much on distance, but on that Personal Record you've been chasing!
This session is for anyone who wants to focus on form, speed, and maintaining a strong base for our fall training programs. Seven weeks of speed, strength, and support! Stay accountable and motivated!
We will beat the summer heat with morning workouts. This year, we will be taking it to the track! Nine of the workouts will take place at Folsom's Sutter Middle School gravel track.

Urban Cow Half Marathon
Description: Welcome to Fleet Feet Folsom & Roseville's Urban Cow 13.1 Training Program! Training for and completing a half marathon is a challenging and rewarding endeavor. Participants in our program benefit from our professional coaches, experienced mentors, and a daily training schedule with goal-specific workouts.
The Urban Cow Half Marathon takes place on October 6, 2024. Participants in this race will enjoy a very scenic and fast course through beautiful neighborhoods and along the Sacramento River. This race features live music on the course, post-race party pasture, cowbell finisher medals for all, and free race photos.

Fall Marathon/CIM
Description: Join CIM Training after Urban Cow Training! Were you inspired to complete a marathon after your Urban Cow half? Join us for the remainder of CIM training! This program is designed to help both new and experienced runners reach their marathon goals in a positive and fun group environment. Relay runners are welcome to join us! The California International Marathon (CIM) takes place on Sunday, December 8th 2024. This 26.2mile run starts in Folsom and ends at our state's capitol building! This race has a net elevation loss and is one of the country's best Boston Marathon qualifiers! It is a fast marathon course and a great first or 20th marathon course.

Description: Welcome to Fleet Feet Folsom & Roseville's California International Marathon (CIM) Training! This program is designed to help both new and experienced runners reach their marathon goals in a positive and fun group environment. Relay runners are welcome to join us!
The California International Marathon (CIM) takes place on Sunday, December 8th, 2024. This 26.2mile run starts in Folsom and ends at our state's capitol building! This race has a net elevation loss and is one of the country's best Boston Marathon qualifiers! It is a fast marathon course and a great first or 20th marathon course.
While this marathon training program is filled with perks at its core, experienced coaches, goal based training plans, insights from CIM insiders, and premium race day experiences, it is about building a community of people who share a passion and want to work together to reach their goals. This program is about encouraging and motivating one another to do your best. Whether you are looking to finish, improve, or perform, this program will leave you a smarter, healthier, and happier runner.
