The Fleet Feet Roanoke's Summer Sizzlin' is an 8-week series for all people and all paces!

We meet every Saturday at 8AM from 6/10/23-7/29/23 at Sweet Donkey Coffee. The routes will include 1-, 3-, and 5- mile options. Most routes will be on the Roanoke Greenway. All participants get an awesome Fleet Feet Summer Sizzlin' shirt. This is a great way to meet new running/walking friends and get in your miles during the Summer. These workouts are open to all paces! This is a family friendly event.

New This Year:

Like Winter Warriors, family drop in's are encouraged (the more the marrier!). Feel free to bring your family and kids under 16 along. Youths or visitors will need to sign a waiver at each meet up.

During the season, we will schedule a special day where we will be doing an optional plogging run. Plogging is where you pick up trash along the route and deposit it into a trash bin. This is an effort to give back to the beautiful community we live in.

The Details:

-Once you sign up, Cameron Baker will reach out to give you further information on our first meet up.

-Please bring your own hydration for use during the workout. As we all know, the summers in Roanoke can get HOT and the mornings are no exception.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS:

Participants must be 16 years old or be accompanied by a legal guardian to participate. Due to safety reasons pets and headphones are not allowed at workouts. Participants must carry emergency contact information and hydration with them at all times. Participants must follow Greenway etiquette and be respectful of other pedestrians on the Greenway.
