Are you looking to sign up for a spring or summer race, or you have already registered and are unsure about how to improve your training? Look no further! This is the training program for you!
Our Half and Full Marathon training program is designed with your individual needs in mind! This 12-week program designed to prepare runners for their next big race - whether it is a 10K, 10 Miler, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, or Ultramarathon, our awesome coaches can help get you get through those grueling training runs with a plan! The program is designed for longer distances, but we welcome all folks looking to take the next step in their running - race registration or not!
*Please Note: Athletes targeting the full marathon should have a solid foundation with a long run of of ~2 hours by the start of this class. Half marathoners are encouraged to have run a 10k prior to the start of class. All other participants should be comfortable running a 5k or longer prior to the start of this class.
When: Wednesday nights at 5:30pm starting February 19th (optional informal "Check it out" night on February 12th to get all your questions answered)
Where: At Fleet Feet Maine Running in Portland, ME
Coaches: Matt Lunt and Tanya Holbrook
Cost: $125 (Does not include bib)
Class will meet on Wednesdays at 5:30pm for a weekly coached workout (up to 1.5 hours) and will run officially from February 19th to May 6th. Participants are encouraged to join the Saturday morning group run with the Fleet Feet Run Club for camaraderie during weekend long runs!
Each participant will receive an organized training calendar, individualized coaching, and be able to train with other runners with similar goals!
The target race for this class is the Maine Coast Marathon and Sugarloaf Marathon, but the training plan can be altered to any longer distance race over a 5k!
