Our team at Fleet Feet Maine Running is committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive fellowship to allow others to feel comfortable, encouraged and inspired. At our locations in Portland and Brunswick, we are consistently making an effort to better support our community and our peers within surrounding organizations. Whether it is donating to a local cause to aid in race and event sponsorship to collecting goods to help those in need, we are immensely appreciative of the close relationships we have within our running community so we are always eager to give back.
A Running Passion - An incredible non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of young people through sport. We collect any shoes, trainers or racing, that have been gently used and donate them to their cause to help prepare high school and college student-athletes for the road ahead.
Portland Trails - For more than 25 years, this organization has been the driving force in conservation and growth for Maine's vast trail system. Races such as the Portland Back Cove Series act as fundraisers to help support non-profits such as Portland Trails.
Maine Track Club - Organizer of several annual races, group runs, training clinics, and club social events. From packet pick-ups and aid stations to hosting events, we just about do it all with this group.
Girls on the Run - Another amazing non-profit committed to inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident within the sport of running and community engagement. Volunteering at local races and providing resources needed for events, they always inspire us to do more and dream bigger.
MORE Foundation - A non-profit which collects gently used athletic shoes for re-use and for funding reforestation. The sheer volume of shoes we send out to them is fascinating. There is always a tall box at our entrance ready for people to drop off any used shoes to help out those in need, whether it is footwear or fruit-bearing trees.
