Causes:
- Inflammation to the ball of foot. Can be symptoms of:
- Morton's Neuroma: Swollen and inflamed nerve in the foot (between the bones and ball of the foot). Often caused by wearing tight/binding shoes. Symptoms include sharp pain and numbness.
- Fallen Metatarsal Arch: Metatarsal heads may drop due to body weight or excessive pressure
