Get a jump on the New Year with our 4-week, coached training program designed to help you start your fitness journey. The program includes a training schedule that will help guide you on your journey at a pace that is appropriate for you as an individual. At the end of the four weeks you’ll be able to run/walk one mile while feeling happy and healthy!
When do I start?
Make it a Mile will kick off on Monday, December 8th at 6pm. We’ll meet twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm. Our final session will be on January 1st, 2015 and we’ll kick off the New Year by run/walking a mile as a group and then celebrating our commitment with a party at Fleet Feet!
Is this program right for me?
Are you looking to add some healthy activity to your life? If yes, then this program is absolutely for you! We want to share our passion for movement with you and help you to ‘Be the Movement!’
How will I get there?
The program includes two coach-led workouts per week where we will follow the training schedule that is provided. You will also receive a weekly email with tips for your training and other topics that are important to new runners! We will also have coach-led clinics at some of our workouts that will delve a little deeper into the fitness world, helping you to stay happy, healthy and injury free!
How much does the program cost?
Make it a Mile costs $40. If you successfully complete the Make it a Mile program and want to join our No Boundaries 5k Training Program that begins on January 13th, we will put the program cost towards the No Boundaries program fee!
