12 Week Plan | Begins Saturday, August 15: time and details provided after registration

We are excited to announce we are going to begin in person group runs on August 15!
We have selected a new goal race for our fall training - The New Bruanfels Full/Half/5K/10K on November 14, 2020. So far the race is still going on as planned. The City of San Antonio has not permitted any race permits so far so the fate of the Rock-N-Roll is still unknown. If the Rock-N-Roll is held, I can help provide a “gap” plan to adjust mileage or how to do both races.
Due to the current distancing measures we must maintain, we will NOT be having free, open social runs at this time. Our Saturday morning meet-ups will only be for our paid training participants. It’s crucial to do this to manage staggered start times, accommodate any necessary change of venues and to keep our program as safe as possible.
The training group will be meeting twice a week. Wednesday nights at 7 pm in the Olmos Park Basin for speed and strength work. Saturday mornings at 7 am at the Quarry location for a long run. Saturday mornings we will have staggered start times with groups of no more than 10 people starting every 15 minutes. We will ensure distancing on the Wednesday workouts. Masks will be required when we are unable to social distance, but we do not require you to wear them while you are running.
Workout plans will be available for 5K, 10K, half and full distances. The cost for the 12 week plan is $50 but does not include race entry fees. Again, due to the current circumstances, we may need to limit participation, so sign up today! More information about the New Braunfels race is here.
