The Howard W. Peak Greenway Trail System has some of the best running routes, consisting of over 80 miles of paved, connected trails that are used for running, walking and cycling. Fleet Feet social and training group runs meet at various trailheads along the greenway. Click here to see a map of the greenway.

- Leon Creek Greenway is a tranquil oasis through western San Antonio. Part of the city's Howard W. Peak Greenway Trails system
- Eisenhower Park:

- Sprawling 320-acre natural area with picnic & BBQ spots, plus 5 miles of hiking & jogging trails.

- Tranquil park featuring multi-use trails from rugged to beginner-friendly, plus guided canyon hikes.

- Natural area with jogging & biking trails, picnic spots, a dog park, playscapes & athletic fields.
- Trail shoes are recommended but there are some paved paths perfect for road shoes.
- Olmos Basin Park Trailhead:

- Beautiful and scenic trails. Plenty of shade trees along most of the paved trails.
- Brackenridge Park:

- Historic riverside park with trails, picnic & play areas, athletic fields & miniature train rides.
- The Pearl/Riverwalk Area
- Pearl Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78215
- Enjoy an fun run alongside the San Antonio River to explore all of downtown and check out the must see sights.
