Group Runs and Walks

Wednesday Sunset Group Run @ Big Dog 6:00 PM ($3.50 drafts @ Iron Bank post run!)

Come join us every Wednesday at 6:00pm for our group run! We get the community together to run some miles and make some new friends along the way. Occasionally, we'll also have a vendor here to demo shoes that anyone can try on for free during the run, and sometimes, you could even win some prizes. Anyone and everyone is welcome to our group runs, no matter what. All ages, and all paces are welcome here. 

We rotate between four different routes each week, each of them ranging between 4 and 5 miles long. At the beginning of each run, we'll hand out cards that have that week's route printed on them, as well as go over any upcoming events/races we may have. After the run, we've got half price drafts next door at Iron bank for all of our 21 and older friends - please bring a valid ID with you for any alcoholic purchases. 

Saturday Sunrise Group Run @ Big Dog 6:00 AM (We make you pancakes; all you have to do is run!)

There's nothing better than starting your day with a run - especially when there's pancakes waiting for you when you're finished. 

Every Saturday morning at 6am, we run. The store is fully open at this time too, so there's plenty of space to leave your keys or anything you don't want to bring with you while you're running. The store is also open for business at this time in case you need to make a purchase before the run. These runs can be a little bit longer and a little bit faster compared to our Wednesday night sunset run, but don't let that discourage you from coming out and getting some morning miles in. We're more than happy to help you in any way that we can so you can accomplish your goals. 

Tuesday and Thursday Walk Group @ 5:30 PM

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening, we meet up at the store and walk for an hour. Anyone and everyone are welcome to join our walk group, no matter your pace, age, etc. We usually head out to the riverwalk and do an out-and-back style walk – 30 minutes out ad 30 minutes back. We walk at a leisurely pace for everyone and can adjust if we need to. The walk group is also great to meet new people and make new friends. Don’t just come out to the walk by yourself, feel free to bring all of your friends and the whole family to join in on the fun!

Sunday Trail Run/Hike  @ 2:00PM

Meet us every Sunday afternoon at Standing Boy State Park for a trail run or group hike! We'll start at the Hiking Trail Head, and Amy from Standing Boy will be there to lead us on the trail. There is a parking fee for the State Park, and that can be paid via the QR code at the park. 

Whether it's the Wednesday night sunset run, the Saturday morning sunrise run, the walk group on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or the trail runs on Sundays, we can't wait to meet you and get some miles in with you!
