Fleet Feet Metairie's 2020 Winter Half Marathon and 5K training program is designed to help runners and run/walkers successfully complete the New Orleans Women's Half Marathon and 5K March 8th, 2020. The 12-week program runs from December 17th through race day. Our program is designed to safely train beginners for their first half marathon or 5k, or help experienced runners improve upon their previous half marathon time. The New Orleans Women's Half Marathon and 5K is the target race but you are welcome to choose a different race or run/walk with us for accountability. Along the way, we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving by providing guidance and advice. The program includes: weekly group training run/walks, weekly training tips, educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. 2020 Winter No Boundaries Half Marathon Finish Program

Description: From the time you register to train with us, until race day, you will get all the training, motivation, education, and support that you need to physically and mentally take on the 13.1 distance. Train with Fleet Feet Metairie for a 12-week training program, beginning December 17th. We will be training for the 2020 New Orleans Women's Half Marathon and 5K. We will offer the 5k and 13.1 mile finish training plans during this program. This support-focused training program includes walking, running, and education on everything from proper form and injury prevention to nutrition.
Meet with us three times a week on Tuesdays 5:30 AM Kenner Pavilion, Thursdays 6:00 AM Lafreniere Park and Saturdays 7:00 AM from Fleet Feet.
Individual Participant Registration Cost: $75.
