5k Spring Session starts April 13th
$35 8 week training program
Enjoy a 8 week training program designed for all fitness levels. This program can be taken by walkers, interval run/walk, and runners of all different pace groups. This program will feature a combination of in person and virtual coaching.
What a typical week will look like:
M: (optional on your own miles or light cross training workout distance/examples will be provided virtually)
Tu: In person speed session - done within pace groups to ensure groups are staying to a responsible size. Start time is at 6PM
W: Virtually delivered cross training routine via facebook live
Th: In person group run in pace group at 6PM (Intensity will very)
Sa: Long Run in person by pace group. Start time 8:30AM
Locations: We try to keep it feeling fresh and not so "routine", so we have varying locations to start at for in person runs. These will be determined in advance and delivered with the training program at the start of the course. Some locations you can expect: Chisholm Trail Park, Sedgwick County Park, Pawnee Prairie Park, Fleet Feet Wichita East, Fleet Feet Wichita West, Down Town in front of the Hyatt
- A full detailed 8 week training plan
- A Coach who is there for your support and guides you through the program
- Invitation to a private Facebook Group designed to increase comradery, pass off vital information, and host private virtual training sessions.
- Invitations to exclusive events made just for the group.
- These will include: health and wellness events hosted by health professionals, promotional events, and demo Events (Shoe vendor comes and lets you try out their products for your run)
What about Covid? We are dedicated to helping you stay active without putting you in dangerous situations. Masks will be required upon entry of the stores, as well as anytime social distancing cannot be met. Masks will not be required when out on runs when social distancing can be met. Groups will now only meet by pace group with a staggered start to avoid large gatherings. We will encourage all participants to stay in their cars until it is their groups time period to meet with coach. No gathering in large groups outside or in the stores waiting for the program to start. Restrooms will still be accessible but will be highly encouraged to use right before or right after its their pace groups turn to meet with coach. Water stops will be provided in route but bottles or packs must be brought by the participant. Sharing of food or drink will be prohibited until we are able to do this safely. Ultimately we want to help you reach your fitness goals & do our part to do it in a safe way.
Open to all ages under contingencies: Any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the entire program
