I’ve been reading a lot in the last few years and have found a few authors that I seem to gravitate towards. One book that I’ve actually started re-reading is Atomic Habits by James Clear.
As we approach the end of 2025, many people start thinking about New Year’s resolutions. I’ve never been fond of doing these myself, but I see the merit in attempting improvements in one’s life at the beginning of the new year. In James Clear’s book Atomic Habits, he outlines many ways to make small changes that can either support a good habit, or eliminate a bad one. If the change in calendar helps kickstart this process, then I’m all for it!
As we say goodbye to 2025 and welcome a new year in a few weeks, I reflect upon the last 12 months. Lots of changes happened this year - both personal and professional. I made small changes along the way to create good habits and dropped a few bad ones. Hopefully as you read this, you’re reflecting on having done the same or plan on doing so in the coming year.
We have a lot of exciting things planned for 2026, and I’m excited to continue being an important part of the Fairfield County running community. We wish all of you a safe and enjoyable holiday season and a happy New Year!
