2026 Spring Half Marathon Training

Our training programs are so much more than just working out. You will be part of a running community where our experienced RRCA certified coaches will be there working out with you, while also cheering you on.

Our training programs are very social and many participants form lifetime friendships through their fitness journey. The atmosphere you will experience in your training program is motivational and will help keep you engaged and meet your goals! What better way to reach your goals than by joining Fleet Feet Vacaville for Half Marathon training; a 10-week program for runners hoping to run their first half marathon, get back after time off or improve their time. The purpose of the program is to introduce (or re-introduce) participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and to encourage them to live healthier lifestyles. To join, the program expects you to be able to cover 6 miles (running OR walking) comfortably, and we don't care how fast or fit you are! Come down and get fit with us!

*Group meets Thursday's at 6:15pm and Saturday's at 7:00am

*Informational Night: Tuesday, December 30th 6:15pm at Fleet Feet

*Training Begins Monday, January 5th

- Training Includes -

• 10-week comprehensive training plan

• Two group training runs per week led by RRCA certified coaches

• Weekly training newsletter with training tips & insider info

• VIP suite at Sutter Field for Fleet Feet Training Group members only at the race

• $25 in Fleet Feet Bucks to be used on accessories and/or apparel (does not apply to ambassadors & FVRC members)

• Education on proper form, pacing, fueling, and stretching

*Program cost does not include entry fee to the Shamrock'n Half Marathon

December 10th - December 30th: $120

December 31st & After: $135

Ambassador & Team FVRC pricing is $67.50 at all times

*To become an ambassador, you must have participated in 3 full-priced training groups.
