FLEET FEET RACING TEAM

The Fleet Feet Tuscaloosa Racing Team is a year-round training program for dedicated runners of all abilities looking to elevate their performance at any distance from 5k through the ultra distance. If you enjoy training and racing in a fun and encouraging team environment, the Fleet Feet Tuscaloosa Racing Team is for you. The racing team will meet you where you are to help elevate your training throughout the year.  

You will work with our coaches dedicated to developing a holistic plan for your continual, long-term improvement, and represent Fleet Feet within the running community. 

The Racing Team will have structured training programs for key races throughout the year but will offer you flexibility to work with our coaches to prepare for a selected number of additional races. 

The racing team will also serve as Fleet Feet Tuscaloosa ambassadors throughout the year with many opportunities to encourage and connect with other runners in Tuscaloosa. 

The team will be limited to 25 members for 2025. Applications open December 12, 2024 and end on January 13, 2025. The Racing Team Fee is $250.

FLEET FEET RACING TEAM DETAILS

• All race team participants will receive program registration information upon acceptance.
• Weekly team workouts will begin in February with an early February kick-off party.
• Each participant will have a one-on-one conversation with one of our coaches to establish goals and help formulate a training strategy and plan at the beginning of the year.
• Each participant will receive a Fleet Feet Racing Team New Balance racing kit.
• Fleet Feet Tuscaloosa Racing Team Strava group for athletes to share workouts, communicate and encourage each other.
• Yearly Fleet Feet discount card to be used in store.
• $100 credit to local races.
• Exclusive events and outings at Fleet Feet Tuscaloosa.
• Will serve as Fleet Feet ambassador throughout the year.
