What We Do

The Fleet Feet team is comprised of the most passionate individuals in running specialty. Their focus is centered around giving our guests the best possible experience time after time as well as ensuring you achieve your needs in lifestyle, fit, customer service, training and product.

Fleet Feet focuses heavily on continuous, specialized education to transform its staff into expert "Outfitters" who view customer interaction through the core value, "It's a Privilege to Serve." Employee onboarding and training are deeply centered around mastering the brand's proprietary fit id® Outfitting Process. Staff members learn how to pair a empathetic, one-on-one consultation with retail technology, which includes capturing precise 3D measurements of a customer's feet and analyzing their stride via Dynamic Pressure Mapping. By combining this technical data with active listening, staff are trained not just to sell a shoe, but to diagnose individual movement patterns and goals.

Beyond tech integration, Fleet Feet's training emphasizes medical outreach and holistic community care. Outfitters receive education on lower-limb mechanics and common overuse injuries, learning how to recommend specific head-to-toe solutions like custom insoles, targeted compression, and specialized socks to address conditions like plantar fasciitis. This continuous development structure builds a highly specialized consultative culture, empowering employees to deliver the exact same high-touch, personalized assessment whether they are working in a local store or operating a mobile "Workplace Fit" event for corporate clients.
