On Friday, September 16, 2016 the Road Runners Club of America and Fleet Feet Sports will promote the 11th Annual RUN@WORK Day. The goal of RUN@WORK Day, presented by the Road Runners Club of America, is to encourage adults to get 30-minutes of exercise each day, in accordance with the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, either before work/school, during lunch, or immediately following work/school. RUN@WORK Day also encourages companies to help employees schedule time for physical activity. Incorporating exercise into one’s daily routine can markedly improve one’s overall physical health.
RUN@WORK Day will start at noon in Armory Square at the Dragon Sculpture (Walt the Loch West Monster) and travel along the creek walk. Walker and Runners can do 1, 3 or 5 miles.
***The first 50 people to arrive at the run will receive a free t-shirt. First come, first serve on t-shirt size.
