Title: Marketing Coordinator
Job Description: Fleet Feet Sports, Syracuse is seeking a marketing professional to join its marketing department for a full time position. This candidate will focus on event planning, community and public relations, assist members of the marketing team in corporate wellness outreach, as well as being heavily involved in the strategic planning of various initiatives to gain new customers while retain current ones. This position will report to the marketing manager.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field is required
- 1-2 years of previous marketing experience is required
Responsibilities: All members of the marketing department are a part of a team with an overall goal of increasing sales through customer acquisition and customer retention. The marketing team handles the marketing for both Fleet Feet Sports locations – East Syracuse and Clay.
The marketing department works some non-traditional hours, such as evenings and weekends, depending on events that take place. Fleet Feet Sports seeks a candidate with a strong work ethic who is willing to go the extra mile to create a great experience for our customers. The marketing team is a fun group environment that allows for creativity and growth.
In addition to the marketing responsibilities, all Fleet Feet Sports employees work the sales floor, helping our customers. This position will have 20 hours per week dedicated to the sales floor to start, with all necessary training done prior to starting in the marketing department.
