Corporate Wellness Program Coordinator
Job Description: Fleet Feet Sports, Syracuse is seeking a marketing and sales professional to join its marketing department for a full time hourly position. This candidate will focus on managing the Fleet Feet Sports Corporate Wellness Program. The position will include aligning Fleet Feet Sports Corporate Wellness Program with local businesses health and wellness initiatives. The person in this role will be in charge of networking with local businesses and human resource managers to secure corporate fit clinics as well as planning and executing all logistics of the fit clinics. Additionally, this person will be responsible for setting up and planning all other wellness initiatives for businesses such as Good Form Running clinics, race prep clinics and corporate training program opportunities. This position will report to the marketing manager.

Qualifications/Responsibilities: A successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Comfortable in a networking role with the ability to pitch and secure the Corporate Wellness programs to local businesses
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner when promoting Corporate Wellness and when at actual fit clinics
- Experience in event planning and execution
- Experience in business development
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field is required
- 2-3 years of previous marketing and/or sales experience is preferred
All members of the marketing department are a part of a team with an overall goal of increasing sales through customer acquisition and customer retention. The marketing team handles the marketing for both Fleet Feet Sports locations – East Syracuse and Clay.
The marketing department works some non-traditional hours, such as evenings and weekends, depending on events that take place. Fleet Feet Sports seeks a candidate with a strong work ethic who is willing to go the extra mile to create a great experience for our customers. The marketing team is a fun group environment that allows for creativity and growth.
In addition to the marketing responsibilities, all Fleet Feet Sports employees work the sales floor, helping our customers. This position will have 20 hours per week dedicated to the sales floor to start, with all necessary training done prior to starting in the marketing department.
