Fleet Feet Sports will host a "Made in America" party tonight to launch the "880" sneaker from New Balance, an American brand.
The evening will kick off with a test run of the new 880 at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., there will be an American-themed party in the store with an apple pie eating contest, craft beer from Middle Ages and Good Nature Brewing, and giveaways.
East Syracuse Chevy will offer test drives of their American cars, the Camaro and Traverse. Team New Balance athlete and NCAA cross country and track champion Abbey D'Agostino will also be at the event.
Where: Fleet Feet Sports at 5800 Bridge St. in East Syracuse.
When: Tuesday, August 12 from 6-8 p.m.
How much: Free to attend. You can register your name so Fleet Feet can estimate how much pie and beer to bring.
