Some walked, some ran, all helped CNY SPCA
The start of this morning's 6Legged 5K at Onondaga Lake Park was a bit more chaotic than your average 5K race: some of dogs did not quite understand the 'move forward' concept, and more than a few leashes tangled or tripped up human competitors.
Even so, it looked like most of the competitors were having fun. Some were serious runners, others took the course around Onondaga Lake Park at a walk. Some of the dogs dressed up for the occasion.
The event, coordinated by Fleet Feet Sports, raised over $10,000 for the CNY SPCA in Mattydale.
