Fleet Feet Running Club (FFRC) training programs offer individualized running, run/walk, and walking training in a social and motivating group setting. Our professional coaches, experienced mentors, and medical community partners will support you as you complete your weekly workouts in pursuit of your race goal.
Every FFRC program begins with a kick-off meeting and concludes on a date that coincides with a particular goal race (the GO! St. Louis event in the spring, for example). However, we welcome anyone to join any program at any time and we can customize any program to prepare you for a different goal race before or after the program "end" date. Each week, the price for each program is prorated so late enrollees only pay for the remaining weeks. Of course, the more training you complete the more fun you'll have and the easier it will be for you to accomplish your goal. We strongly recommend joining your chosen program as early as possible.

An independent 2018 study by Upper Quadrant, a data analytics company, collected the data to prove it. And what respondents to their surveys and interviews didn't like, we've worked hard to improve (such as prorating fees for late entrants).

Description: Train for the magical 10K distance with Fleet Feet Running Club! On one hand, completing 6.2 miles demands your respect and attention, but on the other, it isn't so far that you can't train for it - and complete several 10ks - in one season. It's one step beyond the 5K (or 3.1-miles) and a great segue to the half marathon distance (13.1-miles). This program is designed for the currently-casual athlete who is ready to take their training to the next level. We'll delve a little deeper into the subjects that will help you go beyond the 5k: speed training, nutrition management, hydration, safety & visibility, and more.

Description: Despite being "short" from a distance runner's standpoint, the 10K is a difficult race distance to master. The 10K is a blend of speed and endurance that necessitates running only a few ticks slower than 5K pace, yet for double the distance. Our Advanced 10K Training program is designed to prepare advanced competitors for the exact physiological challenges of the 6.2-mile distance, teach the body and mind how to push through the tough parts of a race, and perfect a pacing strategy that pushes the limits.

Bond with other runners, learn and improve together and receive plenty of support from Fleet Feet coaches along the way.

Description: Our Advanced Half Marathon program is for experienced half marathoners who have made the transition from completing to competing. Program applicants are first assessed by our professional coaches and - if they have the foundation needed to train to race 13.1 miles in under 2ΒΌ hours (10:30/mile long run training pace) or faster - are accepted into this positive, driven training environment.

Program Schedule: Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm at the Family Arena, Saturday mornings at 6:30am at various parks, & Sunday mornings on your own.
Program Fee: $230, excludes race fee
Description: If you've ever completed a marathon and thought, "Well, that just wasn't long enough," we have good news! The 50M/100M Distance Project is a group training program designed for runners who are motivated to move beyond the classic 26-mile, 385-yard marathon distance and up to the 50M ultramarathon. Members will learn how to adapt to the increased mileage, develop the ability to run while fatigued, and experiment with the different nutrition and hydration needs of the ultrarunner.

Program Schedule: Wednesday evenings (6:00pm) at Lewis & Clark Trail and on Saturday mornings at various St. Louis/St. Charles parks (7:30am).
Program Fee: $90
Description: Off-road running is good for the body and the soul. Trails don?t pound the legs, their uneven surfaces and hills build leg and lung strength, and they provide a close-up view of Mother Nature at her best. Our Rock Runners program teaches participants how to safely enjoy off-road running and introduces them to different local trails.
