Starting Location: Bootlegger's Run Trailhead
Creve Coeur Lake Upper Ball Fields (entrance off of Dorsett Road) - take Streetcar Dr from Dorsett into the park, starting lot will be just after the tennis courts on your right, gravel parking lot.
The gravel lot will be our start and end point, if this area fills up there are various parking spaces scattered through out the park nearby.
Run Description: 4 hours
Run this one simply for time on your feet, don't worry too much on pacing as we will be coming off of a pretty long run the day before so don't be too worried if your body feels a little tired, that is okay. This is the end of our first 4-week cycle so you get a nice drop back the following week for recovery after this one. We will utilize the Bootlegger Trail for this which is a total length of 5 miles if you run the entire perimeter of the loop (see map below). You can easily mix this up into various loops if you choose and you have the option to always hit up the parking lot if needed. If you would prefer to venture away from this trail and hit up another shorter option you can hop on the gravel path down towards the paved path around the lake and then turn left to head towards the Page Bridge passing by the waterfall area. From there you can hop onto the gravel path which goes for just over a mile, and then once that ends look to your right for a newer dirt trail option which runs parallel with the gravel taking you back out to the paved portion under the bridge. Once there turn right and then just follow the paved path back to where you first joined it after the gravel down hill to head back up to the Bootlegger Trail (see the black dotted line on the map below for where this enters/exits the Bootlegger Trail).
