The Grace to Race

FLEET FEET customer Angie Weidinger works as a reporter/producer for St. Louis's HEC-TV.  She recently interviewed 81 year-old Sister Madonna Buder, the St. Louis native who's known internationally as the "Running Nun" or the "Iron Nun."  Sister Madonna has run more than 350 triathlons - including 40 Ironman events.   She finished April's Boston Marathon in 5:38:38.  If you missed her inspiring story when it first aired on HEC-TV, you can watch it online.  And for additional inspiration, visit your local bookstore and pick up a copy of Sister Madonna's latest book, The Grace to Race.
