Starting Location: Green Rock Trail (South Trailhead)
Parking Information: Parking lot will be on your left as you come from Six Flags, little over a mile down the road from the intersection of Allenton Rd and Fox Creek.
Run Details: 90 min run
This is an out and back run for time, simply head out for 45 minutes worth and then turn around and head back, staying on the GREEN ROCK TRAIL the entire time. Just after the 2mi mark the trail comes out on a gravel road near a shelter, just keep to your LEFT and follow the gravel road briefly till around the 2.6mi mark where you will then turn RIGHT to continue along the single track trail of the Green Rock Trail. At approx 3.5mi the trail crosses over Allenton Rd and keeps STRAIGHT...you will also be seeing some orange trail markers for the DeClue Trail within Greensfelder Park...this trail overlaps the Green Rock (which will be white or white and black trail markers). The map below also highlights where the 5 mile mark roughly is depending on how far out you get to give you an idea.
This is a fairly technical and hilly trail so take your time on it. Everything that goes up, comes back down!
