The 15k training program guides you into longer distances and builds speed and endurance. It will include education on different training techniques and tools in order to further enjoy running and improve performance including hill and tempo training. There will be clinics covering a wide range of topical issues on running, health, wellness and nutrition from the area’s leading experts. This program will be shorter than our standard programs at only 6 weeks, you'll be starting your long runs at 5-6 miles and building up for the Hot Chocolate 15k in Chicago on November 7th (race entry NOT included)
The program will begin September 25th at 7am and will include weekly emails from your coach, mentor-led runs twice per week (Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings), as well as a supported, goal-distance run at the conclusion of the program to make sure you get that mileage checked off.
