Marathon Training Program - New Lower Price!
At 26.2 miles, the Marathon is the ultimate road race. And the Marathon training journey is the ultimate running experience. For many runners, the desire to do a marathon is about personal challenges. You might want to test your limits or prove you can go the distance. Perhaps a friend has talked you into it. You may want to lose weight, get healthier, or raise awareness for a charity. And while running a marathon can be daunting, millions of people participate in marathon races worldwide each year. Getting to the start healthy, let alone crossing the finish line after 26.2, takes hard work, discipline, and planning.
Fleet Feet's goal in marathon training is to get you physically and mentally ready to cover the distance, not just to the finish line, but to the finish line as best you can. Our certified coaches have created a custom, 22-26-week training program (depending on the goal race) that will prepare you for the marathon, regardless of your experience level. Our coaches will challenge you with a challenging, effective, intelligent training program to help you run a great race at this year's marathon. Get motivated, meet some great people, have fun, and get in shape all at the same time.
This program will start training at 8 miles (it's not a couch-to-marathon program). We recommend you regularly be running four times per week and be able to complete a half marathon comfortably before registering for this training program. As an example, training in our spring half marathon program would be a terrific choice to build the base needed to prepare you for the rigors of marathon training.
Running takes dedication, but you don't have to train for a marathon alone. Plug into our training group to find a community of runners and run/walkers with goals much like your own. So, whether you are new to marathon running, trying to improve your race performance, or just want to keep moving, our program will help you progress toward personal goals and running success.
