Our 12-week training program for the Windsor Green Half Marathon/10K/5K starts February 17, 2024. Whether it's your first race or 100th, we will be there for you every step of the way to help you get to, not only the starting line, but the finish line happy and healthy!
Our experienced coaches will teach you how to run with proper form, offer advice on nutrition and hydration, as well as injury prevention and recovery. The group camaraderie and accountability will help you on those days when you are less motivated!
Group runs are Saturday mornings at 8 am in various locations in Sonoma County, and also on Thursday evenings at 5:45 pm for speed training. A full schedule of running, cross training and suggested rest days will be issued to participants before the group begins.
Half marathon participants should be able to run 5 miles comfortably at the start of the training to fully benefit from this program.
10K participants should be able to run 3 miles comfortably at the start of the training.
5K participants should be able to run 1 mile comfortably at the start of the training.
We will hold an optional information meeting Thursday, February 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Fleet Feet.
