Are you looking for a way to start or restart your running? Join our 5K training group for a fun, supportive environment to kick start your health goals. If you're unsure if the group is right for you, come out to our first run and try it out for free! The program is a mix of walking and running. Beginning group meets Mondays and Wednesdays.
The intermediate group will meet Monday (with beginners) and Thursday, just the intermediate group. On Mondays the group will be running the same amount as the beginners with more effort during the run part (little faster mile pace then regular runs). On Thursday, the goal would be able to run longer. Run/walk intervals with the goal of longer runs between the walk breaks.
The program duration is from January 13th to March 15th. The beginning group meets Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. The intermediate group meets Mondays and Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. The groups will meet at the corner of West 9th St and Stony Point Road (Stony Point Business Park Parking Lot) in Santa Rosa.
