Training schedule for all days of the week virtually & Wednesday and Saturday in-person training
This program is designed to peak for a 10K/Half Marathon/Full Marathon for any race happening between mid-November to late December. Fleet Feet Training Programs are for runners of all experience levels. Participants will have the option to choose to follow a beginner, intermediate or advanced training plan. Long runs will be held on Saturday morning and there will be an additional speed/strength workout during the week.
Participants will receive a complete training plan that includes workouts to be completed on days we do not meet as a group. Goal race is Rock-N-Roll San Antonio, but training plans can be modified to accommodate races in late November to mid-December. All training plans will include a progressive increase in mileage as well as optional run/walk intervals. Routes will be marked and are “out and back” to accommodate a variety of distances. There are a number of water fountains along the course, but runners are encouraged to carry their own water. Participants will also receive coupon codes to various running events/races to help with your mileage build up.
Saturday long runs will take place at 7 am from various training sites, depending on which location you choose your training from. Your midweek training day will vary depending on which location you choose for your training. You can attend any location you would like for your midweek training runs.
Training meet up locations by store:
Quarry Store training: Wednesday’s at 7pm (location to be determined, Saturday 7am from Quarry Store.
Rim Store training: Tuesday at 7pm (location to be determined), Saturday 7am from Rim Store.
Forum Store training: Tuesday at 7pm, Saturday 7am from Forum store.
The fee for this program is $100 for 10K/Half Marathon programs and $125 for Full Marathon program. Programs for all distances will include options for beginners, intermediate and advanced runners.
