This program is designed to peak for a 10K/Half Marathon/Full Marathon for any race happening between mid-November to late December. Fleet Feet Training Programs are for runners of all experience levels. Participants will have the option to choose to follow a beginner, intermediate or advanced training plan. Long runs will be held on Saturday mornings. Locations will rotate. There will be an additional/optional workout during the week on Wednesdays in the Alamo Heights area. Participants will receive a complete training plan that includes workouts to be completed on days we do not meet as a group. Goal race is Rock-N-Roll San Antonio, but training plans can be modified to accommodate races in late November to mid-December. All training plans will include a progressive increase in mileage as well as optional run/walk intervals. Routes will be marked and are “out and back” to accommodate a variety of distances. There are a number of water fountains along the course, but runners are encouraged to carry their own water. Saturday long runs will begin at 7 am Locations will rotate between the Quarry store, the Rim store, and several running paths in the area. One weekday evening workout will be held at or near one of the store locations. The fee for this program is $75 for 10K/Half Marathon programs and $100 for the Full Marathon program. Programs for all distances will include options for beginners, and intermediate and advanced runners.As a special offer, if you join our fall session before June 30, you can get get the summer session for $20. Our summer session begins June 24 - and we will meet every Saturday morning and a few special weekend workouts TBD. Most of the meet-ups will be from the Quarry store with a few destination runs sprinkled throughout the session.
