What Is The Diamond League?
The Diamond League is the top tier of a global series of track & field meets conducted under the World Athletics umbrella. It’s a series of more than a dozen invitation-only one-day events each year that bring the top competitors to cities across four continents — Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
After 14 separate events, the Diamond League Final Sept 4-5 in Brussels is the winner-take-all championship at the end of the season. After months of racing around the world, only the very best athletes in each event even get in, then everything comes down to one last performance. No cumulative time, no averages; the points reset to zero and whoever wins that day is crowned the champ.
In 2025, FloTrack began streaming the Wanda Diamond League in the U.S. as part of its five-star live content schedule. To elevate the second season of its coverage of the Wanda Diamond League in 2026, FloTrack will partner with On and Fleet Feet as presenting sponsors of FloTrack’s coverage.
