Given the continued threat COVID-19 poses to our local, national, and global communities, we will close all in-store operations and cease all events and training programs at all San Antonio locations beginning Tuesday, March 17. As of now, we anticipate remaining closed through March 27 and will compensate our employees during this time.
As events are changing rapidly, we will continue to reassess circumstances with the best and most up-to-date information available. Our priority remains keeping our employees, customers, and communities safe, and adopting measures that will help flatten the curve of infection rates, slow the spread of the virus, and lessen the strain on our hospitals and dedicated medical professionals.
Running is at our core. We believe strongly that now more than ever, running remains essential to a healthy lifestyle, and can still be done safely following the CDC’s recommended social distancing measures. Just as we have learned to run together to overcome challenges, mental fatigue, and setbacks, so too will we tackle these new realities together. We will find new ways of support, strength, and connection, and we will continue to support runners through safe, effective, and inspirational means. Right now, we are working both at a national and local level to identify and expand upon what some of those means are, ranging from virtual training programs to curated content to curbside pick-up of products. We hope to share those offerings with you soon.
