About This Program
Program Start Dates: Monday June 8th 2026 (CIM Foundations Program), Monday August 3rd 2026 (18 Week Program) & Monday September 14th 2026 (12 Week Program)
Program Schedule: Wednesdays 6:00 PM and Saturdays 7:30 AM [18 Week & 12 Week Programs + Wednesdays 5:45 AM and Sundays 7:30 AM]

Training for a full marathon is a journey that looks different for everyone. Whether you’re a first-timer needing a long runway or a veteran looking for a sharp 12-week build, we have a path designed for your specific goals.
Choose Your Path
CIM Foundations (26 Weeks) | $350
- Start Date: Monday, June 8th
- The ultimate "no-stress" build. This combines our 8-week Summer Foundations with the 18-week CIM program. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a gradual, 6-month progression to the start line.
Traditional CIM Program (18 Weeks) | $250
- Start Date: Monday, August 3rd
- Our official flagship training cycle. This progressive plan covers base building, peak mileage, and a calculated taper.
- Early Bird Coupon: Register by June 29th with coupon for $50 off!
"Last Chance" Program (12 Weeks) | $185
- Start Date: Monday, September 14th
- A condensed, high-intensity path for advanced trainees or those with a strong existing base who don’t require a full 18-week buildup.
Summer Foundations Only (8 Weeks) | $150
- Start Date: Monday, June 8th
- A standalone "base-building" block. Perfect for staying consistent and social over the summer without committing to the full 26.2.
Experience Levels
Within the 18 and 12-week programs, we offer two mileage tiers to match your current fitness:
- Level 1: Best for those averaging ~25 miles/week. Ideal for first-timers ready to tackle their first marathon with a structured support system.
- Level 2: For those averaging 35+ miles/week. Designed for experienced runners looking to build on previous marathon finishes and handle higher volume.
The Fleet Feet Experience
Your training goes beyond the daily run. As part of this community, you’ll receive:
- Coached Workouts: Twice-weekly in-person sessions. Wednesdays 6:00 PM and Saturdays 7:30 AM [18 Week & 12 Week Programs + Wednesdays 5:45 AM and Sundays 7:30 AM].
- Digital Roadmap: Daily training plans delivered via Final Surge, including strength, mobility, and cross-training.
- Expert Guidance: Weekly newsletters with tips on nutrition, hydration, heat acclimatization, and race-day strategy.
CIM Amenities for Training Program Participants
Shuttle to the Start Line
Enjoy the Fleet Feet experience on race day with a Fleet Feet-only pre-race shuttle from downtown Sacramento to the CIM start line. Get comfy on a heated charter bus—you may even be able to sneak in a pre-race nap! The pickup location is just a few blocks from the CIM finish line, so you won't have to walk far to your car after the race.
Start Line Warming Tent
As a member of the CIM First-Timer Program, you have access to the exclusive Fleet Feet warming tent at the start line. The warming tent is stocked with bagels, bananas, coffee, water, and the same fueling and hydration products you'll find on the CIM course. Perhaps most importantly, skip the lines and use the Fleet Feet-only set of portable restrooms connected to the warming tent. Whatever your race day needs are, Fleet Feet has you covered!
