Sprint Triathlon Training
12 weeks of training designed to introduce first-timers to the sport, and to train beginner and intermediate triathletes on the fundamentals of short-distance triathlon racing. If you are curious about triathlon but don't know where to start, this program is for you!
Stay accountable with a training plan complete with daily assignments for swimming, biking, running, and recovery.
Stay motivated by joining up to 4 in-person group training sessions per week, led by Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches.
Sprint Triathlon Training
Description: Group training program designed for newer triathletes, guided by a daily training plan and led by Fleet Feet coaches
Duration: 12 weeks, up to 4 group training sessions per week
Dates: Spring 2022
Days and times:
Tuesdays, 6:00 PM: Group ride
Wednesdays, 5:45 AM or 6:00 PM: drop-in on a Fleet Feet training run/speed workout
Thursdays, 6:00 PM: Group swim
Saturday, 7:30 AM: Group multisport session

Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training session to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized coaching. Training groups will be small, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.
Coaching will focus on proper technique for each sport, fundamentals of the mid-race transition, and fueling/hydration for endurance activities.

Your training plan will provide daily assignments for swimming, biking, running, and recovery. The plan is periodized to gradually increase overall training volume while offering opportunities for your body to build back stronger, week after week.
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early morinings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.
