Bio
I began running for fun in college to enjoy the Santa Cruz scenery, and fell in love with it when I moved to Hawaii. It wasn’t until years later that I set my sights on qualifying for Boston. I pursued organized training, where I really learned what I was truly capable of. My marathon PR is 3:24, which qualified me for Boston, and my half PR is 1:36. My favorite distance is the half marathon because the training is just challenging enough to build my strength and endurance, and the distance is fun to race. Running has introduced me to some of the best people I know, and continues to open doors for me. I now live outside of Boulder, CO, where I am reigniting my love of trail running!
I've coached over 150 athletes, both online and in person, with Fleet Feet. I have had couch to 5K athletes who found a new passion after training with me, up to marathon athletes that have ran for many years and still learned something new with my guidance. My athletes will find success in training if they are willing to put in the work. Follow your training plan closely and please use me as a resource for questions or concerns along the way. One of my particular points of emphasis is running form. It is a basic part of running that can make a huge impact on your efficiency and efficacy.
My philosophy is, "put in the work to redeem the reward." My commitments to you are communication, good listening, motivation, and accountability. I will encourage you through conversation, laughter, and the occasional tough love. You are not in this alone. Pinpoint your "Why" and let's use teamwork to achieve your running goals!

Bio
My running journey began with my first half marathon, Shamrock'n, which fueled my desire to challenge how far I can truly run. After running a few more half marathons, I ran my first marathon, CIM, in 2019. From there, my passion for running led me to enter the ultra marathon realm.
My coaching philosophy focuses on progressive training through speed, strength, mobility and endurance based on individual fitness and goals. Athletes should expect one on one feedback, analysis and support with the focus to equip the athlete with tools/skills to succeed and hit any goal. My training runs are framed to create a space where athletes find comfort and confidence in their walking and/or running abilities.
