Welcome to week 7 of Summer Speed School + CIM 26-Week Training Program!
July 22 - July 28
We hope you all had a great week of training and we enjoyed seeing many of you at the CIM Launch Party yesterday and hope you had a great time and had an opportunity to chat with some of your coaches.
The temperatures are expected to rise again this week so make sure you are staying hydrated; even if you think you aren't thirsty, ensure you are getting enough fluids through the day and week!
Be sure to join our webinar tonight with Coach Michelle as she discusses the mental aspects of marathon training (Zoom details are further down below).
Have a great week!

There is more to running than just training your muscles and improving your stamina. It is also a mental sport. Runners spend the majority, if not all, of their training on physical attributes: getting faster, building strength, recovery, injury prevention, and becoming more athletic. And these are absolutely crucial to your progress so don’t stop! But too many runners ignore the psychological aspect of running, which determines how you engage with the sport. Mentally tough runners understand that this is just as important as physical training. The great news is that mental toughness can be learned. With proper tools and lots of practice, you can be well on your way to mindset mastery.
Physical strength will get you to the start line - but mental strength will get you to the finish line!
