There are those lovely sunny days where the sky is blazingly blue and the air wafts with the scent of barbecues. Then there are those days that are so stiflingly, throat-burningly hot that you don't even open a window. Looks like the forecast calls for blue skies and wafts of BBQ. Although disappointed that we had to cancel Wednesday evening practices, two times in a row, I think we can all agree that it was in your best interest not to run when the heat index is at unsafe levels. Although you may be concerned that you've missed a workout, it’s important to remember that training adaptations will not impact your fitness progress. No one workout is so important that it will make or break your race or training cycle, so leave the stress on the trial, our training plan has degree of flexibility built in. We'll get you to the finish line!

Whether you prefer to set your own pace or join the official fun run led by your Fleet Feet coaches at 8:15 AM, this event has something for everyone.

Running CIM or not, bring your friends, family, and teammates for a morning of fun, fitness, and giveaways to officially launch the road to CIM 2024. No registration is required—just show up and enjoy!, run with friends, or just get out there for a few miles to kick off the start of the CIM training cycle.

FREE Resilient Runner Classes
with Lakás PT & Performance
Lakás PT & Performance is hosting a series of free introductory Resilient Runner Classes in all practice locations.
Dr. Kim Manlangit will touch on evidence-based principles of strength training for endurance runners to improve performance and prevent injury.
Whether you are a new runner, retired runner, or veteran runner, Resilient Runner will help you become a stronger and more confident athlete.
