This complimentary new educational 4 week symposium on Tuesday nights at 7PM-8PM @ the Armory will feature experts on all things running and racing. Educating on Racing, Nutrition, How to Prep for Race Day and How to Run Longer than a Marathon. All are welcome whether you race or not, whether you go long or not....this symposium provides expert knowledge on the various subjects listed below. There is no fee, simply show up. Or join us at 6PM for our hill workout just before, then stay for these inspiring and informative talks.

About the Panelists:
Mark Andrews, Receiving Manager Mark began running the spring of his Freshman year in high school. For the next 3 years he ran Cross Country and Track & Field and then ran all three seasons in college. In 1995 Mark was the overall winner of the Philadelphia Marathon with a time of 2:20. He qualified for the Olympic Marathon Trials in 1996 and 2000. Locally, Mark has been crowned Rochester Runner of the Year twice, in 2007 and 2010. He won the Flower City Challenge Half Marathon in 2011 and then capped the year off by winning the Masters Half Marathon National Championship and Masters 5K National Championship races. In 2016 Mark was the Masters 10K National Champion in 32:45. He has also been the Masters National Champion in his age group 6 other times. Mark's PRs are 2:18 for the marathon, 1:04 for the half marathon, 14:12 for the 5K.
Kelly Lanzafame, Purchasing & Inventory Manager Kelly Lanzafame began running on her high school track team, competing in the 400 meter hurdles. As a teenager, Kelly deemed cross country races "too long," but embraced distance running as an adult. She has completed 3 full marathons, Philadelphia, Ottawa, and Buffalo, and "lost count" of the number of half marathons finished. Last year Kelly tackled Sehgahunda, a grueling 26.3 mile race navigating the massive hills and deep gullies of Letchworth State Park ("The Grand Canyon of the East"). She is currently training to return to Sehgahunda this May. Kelly is an RRCA Certified Coach.
Suzanne Macaulay, FIT Specialist Suzanne has over 24 years experience running, beginning on the high school cross country courses of Long Island. She has completed 13 half marathons, a full marathon, and 2 ultra marathons. In 2014 she finished the Mind the Ducks 12 Hour race 5th female and 10th overall. Later that summer she finished the Beast of Burden 50 Mile 3rd female and 7th overall. Her time for that race remains in the Top 10 Women's Performances in the race's history. She is currently training for the New York City Half Marathon in March and her third ultramarathon later this Spring.
Rob Wilder, FIT Specialist, Good Form Running Clinician, Half & Full Marathon Pacer & Guru, Addaday Ambassador Rob Wilder began running about 10 years ago and has already stacked an impressive resume. He completed his first full marathon in Buffalo in 2009, after being in Fleet Feet Sports' Half/Full Marathon Training Program. In 2012 he entered the ultrarunning world with Can Lakes 50K and Niagara on the Lake 50K. In 2013 he ran the Finger Lakes 50K. The following year Rob ambitiously completed three ultramarathons: Mind the Ducks 12 Hour race, Can Lakes 50 Mile, and Finger Lakes 50 Mile. In the summer of 2015 Rob finished 4th overall at the Beast of Burden 100 Mile race. He returned to Mind the Ducks 12 Hour in 2016 and is currently training for the 2017 edition this May.
Seth Yernye, FIT Specialist, Good Form Running Clinician, Fleet Feet Race Team Coach In addition to Seth's many roles at Fleet Feet Sports, he is also the Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at The College at Brockport. A former hockey player, Seth began running Cross Country and Track & Field at Lake Shore High School. He then ran collegiately for SUNY Plattsburgh competing in the 800, 1500, mile, 3K, 5K, 8K, and steeplechase. Since graduating, Seth continues running competitively, leading the pack at 5K road races in Western and Central New York. His 5K PR on the road is 15:00.
