Fleet Feet Roanoke not only supports the running and walking communities of the Roanoke Valley, but helps many local organizations. Below you will find a list of donations and collections by Fleet Feet Sports.

To date, FFS has raised over $17,000 for local non-profit organizations and has donated over $25,000 in shoes to local needy feet.

February 2018: Raised $660 for the American Heart Association from Plant Nite

March 2018: Raised $2214 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of SWVA through our 15th Anniversary Sock Promotion and partnership with Balega and Feetures

February 2017: Raised $705 for the American Heart Association from Paint Nite

April 2017: Raised $1100 for the Salvation Army's Turning Point at the 80s Throwback Diva Night

June 2017: Raised $1973 for Project Forward through The Big Run Roanoke 5K

July 2017: Raised $1100 for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Virginia through management of The HomeTown Bank's Four on the 4th (this does not include the sponsorship fees that the Boys & Girls Clubs raised)

July 2017: Raised $565 for Unbridled Change through The South Peak Hill Challenge

August 2017: Raised $3100 for Total Action for Progress (TAP) with New Balance for the month of August (for every New Balance shoe sold, New Balance donated $5 and Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke donated $5)

September 2017: Collected hundreds of pairs of gently used shoes, new socks and new shirts for the Shoes for Houston campaign

October 2017: Raised $707 for the American Cancer Society's Climb to Conquer Cancer through the October Paint Nite

Project Forward has donated shoes, socks and more to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Virginia, the West End Center and needy students throughout the Roanoke Valley.

Donated 11 shoes - Acts 2 Ministries Running Program

Donated 10 shoes and 20 pairs socks to students of Patrick Henry High School.

$2000 was raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest VA during Balega Weekend September 19 and 20, 2014. 

$2,088 was raised at our Fall 2014 Diva Night for the Salvation Army's Turning Point Women's and Children's Domestic Abuse Shelter.

Collected $1,349.10 for the Salvation Army's Turning Point Women's & Children's Domestic Abuse Shelter at our Spring 2014 Diva Night.  We also collected 58 sets of shower flip flops and assorted toiletries for the organization.

Donated 21 shoes and 24 socks to Acts 2 Ministries Running Program.  

Donated 21 shoes and 44 pairs socks to students of Patrick Henry High School.

Donated 1 pair of shoes to Breckinridge Middle School 

Donated 7 shoes and 7 pairs socks to the Carilion Teen Health at Lincoln Terrace .

Donated 2 shoes and 6 pairs of socks to students of James Madison Middle School.

Donated 11 shoes ad 11 pairs of socks to the Carilion Weight Loss program.

In-Detail 2013 Donations & Collections

Collected a grand total of $2,581.05 for the Salvation Army's Turning Point Women's & Children's Domestic Abuse Shelter at our Spring 2013 and Fall 2013 Diva Nights.  We also collected toiletries for the organization.

Collected $3,000 for The One Fund through our Runners for Boston t-shirt campaign. 

Donated 10 shoes and 10 socks to the Acts 2 Ministry 5K Training Program.

Donated $325 of new shoes to The Rescue Mission's Second Helpings.

Donated 10 shoes and 10 socks to Stonewall Jackson Middle School Cross Country Team.

Donated four shoes and 12 pairs of socks to Breckinridge Middle School Track Team.

Donated one pair of shoes to the Angel Tree.

Donated 15 pairs of shoes, 41 pairs of socks, 30 shoe bags, three Icebreaker beanies, three GORE gloves and one sports bra to the Patrick Henry High School Student Outreach Program.

Donated $440 of dogs leashes and collars to the Angels of Assisi Animal Hospital.

Donated 13 pairs of shoes and 13 pairs of socks to the Carilion Teen Health at Lincoln Terrace.

Donated $448 in miscellaneous items to the Roanoke Valley Rescue Mission.

Donated $95 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia through the sale of the Balega Lesedi Bracelets.

In-Detail 2012 Donations & Collections

Collected $172 for the Roanoke Appalachian Trail Club at Montrail Movie Night featuring “Unbreakable: The Western States 100”

Collected a total of $1,057.25 for the Salvation Army's Turning Point Women & Children's Domestic Abuse Shelter at our Spring and Fall 2012 Diva Nights, along with collecting toiletries for the Shelter.

Donated $500 to the Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Fleet Feet Sports won the $500 for being voted the Best Aid Station at the 2012 National College Blue Ridge Marathon & Half Marathon.

Donated $200 to the 2012 Virginia Blue Ridge Race for the Cure.

Collected 15 coats for the Manna Ministries during the first ever Fleet Feet Sports Coat Drive Weekend.

Collected $582 in donations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia at the December 18, 2012 Pub Run and during the Free Holiday Gift Wrapping.  Donations were accepted in honor of the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary.

Donated 47 pairs of new shoes, a $4,485 value, to Student Outreach Committee with Roanoke City Schools for very needy kids in middle and high school.

Donated five pairs of Superfeet Premium Insoles to the residents of the Rescue Mission of Roanoke Valley ($205 value).

Donated five pairs of Balega/Feetures! socks to the residents of the Rescue Mission of Roanoke Valley ($57 value).

Donated a Camelbak Fleet Feet Sports Water Bottle to the Marlins District Championship ($18 value).

Donated $1,290 of Fleet Feet Sports Gift Certificates to 66 local non-profit organizations and events.

Collected $445 for the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Virginia for offering Free gift wrapping the week before Christmas

Donated 29 new athletic shoes worth $2573 to needy students in the Roanoke City Middle and High Schools through the Student Outreach Committee.  Many of these students are homeless or transient.

Donated 100 nylon stringed backpack-style bags worth $279 to the Roanoke City Middle and High Schools.

Donated 12 pairs of new sandals worth $645 to Second Helpings (part of the Rescue Mission)

Donated $1050 in Fleet Feet Sports gift certificates as prizes for numerous events at churches, schools, and non-profit organizations

Donated new shoes, socks and inserts worth $151 to a very needy and mentally challenged high school student

Because of our relationship with New Balance, New Balance donated 84 technical shirts worth $2500, 12 duffle bags worth $300 and 5000 race number bibs worth $1200 to the Rescue Mission’s main fundraiser, The Drumstick Dash

Donated 2000 race number bibs to Knights Crossing worth $480

Collected approximately 100 large boxes of previously worn shoes for the Rescue Mission

Collected many large boxes of toiletries for The Turning Point at both Diva Nights
