Do you want to improve your health and fitness? Did you know that WALKING is a great exercise? We offer a safe, welcoming place for you to get fit, make friends, and have fun! At Fleet Feet, we encourage you to exercise at your own comfortable pace and we are focused on YOUR success.
The 8-week Walking Warriors program kicks off April 1 - National Walking Day!
PROGRAM DETAILS: Two group workouts a week: 40 minute walks on Wednesday at 6pm at Fleet Feet Morrisville, Raleigh and North Raleigh; 60 minute walks on Saturdays at 8am at various locations in the area. You will need to allow time to complete the workout and our post-workout stretching routine. We will teach you good habits to help you start and maintain a regular walking routine.
Registration: $25. You can earn a $25 Fleet Feet gift card for finishing the program at the end of the program breakfast.
Program Requirements: You must to REGISTER to participate in this program. There is no fitness requirement to join Walking Warriors. This is a beginner program. This is an “adult program” but children under 18 can join. If a child registers (under 18), a parent must also register and walk with the child in the group. Strollers are welcome! If you have NOT been exercising, we strongly recommend you consult with your doctor before starting this exercise program.
Walking Warriors Program includes:
- Experienced mentors who will guide and motivate you through each workout.
- Organized group walks offered several times a week.
- Weekly email motivation, communication and training tips.
