Group training is officially back! Half Marathon training starts the week of July 12, 2021.
- Start date: July 12, 2021 (first group workout is July 14th)
- Duration: 14 weeks
- Price: $120+fees
- Workout schedule: Mondays are rest days. Wednesdays are group workouts (5:30 pm at Fleet Feet Tacoma). Saturdays are group long runs (starting at 8 am from Point Defiance Park (near the restrooms next to the Botanical Gardens - from there the group will split into road and trail training). We'll continue to follow COVID-19 guidelines for group training meetups and adjust our protocols as they change.
- Workout delivery: choose to receive your training plans through Training Peaks or the good ol' fashioned way...PDFs.
- Our Distance Training Facebook group is a great way to connect with other runners.
- We're partnering with the Poulsbo Half Marathon (road) and the TCMA Defiance 15K or 30K (trail) on October 16th. We welcome runners in our Tacoma/Puget Sound community training for other races and are happy to adjust your plan to meet your goals.
