Recycling - Shoes and Sports Bras

♻ Give Your Old Shoes and Sports Bras a New Life at Fleet Feet Princeton

At Fleet Feet Princeton, we believe every step matters — not just the miles you run, but also the impact you leave behind. That’s why we’re proud to offer shoe recycling and sports bra recycling right here in our store.

When you drop off your worn-out running shoes, walking shoes, or sneakers, you’re helping keep waste out of landfills and giving your gear a second chance at life. Old shoes can be transformed into athletic tracks, playground surfaces, and new materials — instead of just collecting dust in the back of your closet.

How It Works

1. Bring In Any Brand, Any Condition
From muddy trail shoes to your first pair of marathon trainers, we’ll take them all - no purchase necessary.

2. Drop Them in Our Recycling Bin
Look for the clearly marked bin inside Fleet Feet Princeton.

3. We Handle the Rest
We partner with trusted recycling programs that safely break down and repurpose your shoes.

Why Recycle Your Shoes?

• Reduce Waste: Every year, millions of shoes end up in landfills, where they can take decades to decompose.

• Support Sustainability: Your shoes can become new products or materials, reducing the need for new resources.

• Declutter Your Closet: Clear out space while doing something good for the planet.

We partner with I Support the Girls of Central and South Jersey - ensuring slightly loved sports bras to women and girls in need in Mercer and Hunterdon county.
