The feeling of the wind blowing in your hair, or across your face, of nearly floating across the ground as the runners high takes over is one of the beautiful joys of running. In Summer Speed you'll spend 10 weeks with your coach learning how to develop your kick, master the fartlek, and tap into your ability to be a speed demon. This training is designed for runners of any level who want to develop their speed skills and add more energy to their day to day running.

The training done as a group will be speed workouts. The session will be a 10 week progression from entry level speed work to advanced speed work ranging from 1 mile to 5k. Summer Speed is for the runner who wants to add a layer to their day to day running or future training. Speed work done regularly is a great way to stay sharp in your training and become more well rounded as a runner.
Trainees must have the ability to run 5k distance
Trainees must be 15 years of age or older
All trainees younger than 18 must have signed parent permission to participate
No refunds after first day of training
Training fee does not include any race entry fees
Limited to 30 trainees
